i'm reading this article from the NYTIMES, "what is it about 20-somethings?" and it describes my life to a T. not wanting to grow up, taking your time to figure out your wants and needs before anyone elses, going back to school because of the lack of anything else to do in this economy, and so on. i find it very interesting that someone has turned it in to a study and it actually makes me feel a little bit better. most of my friends fall in this category as well, however, for me i really just don't know what i want to do with my life professionally or personally, but at least i know that i am not the only one.

overturn of prop 8

It's sad to see how the ignorance comes out in so many people when dealing with this issue. I'm not saying everyone who is in favor of prop 8 in California is ignorant. It's the blind people that just agree with someone without having any outside knowledge. A family member of mine just friended me on facebook and one of her status updates was "some judge just overturned prop 8" with her friends commenting under it saying "eww" and "what a sad day". No. 1 I can't believe how different her friends and my friends are. No. 2 I really wonder how much experience these people have with this issue. This family member of mine is a person who is devoted to God and Christianity. But if she was really a devout Christian, she could personally not believe it or acknowledge them herself. but to deny someone of happiness and of their state rights is not very Christian. period.
